CPAP equipment maintenance

• A well-maintained mask will last longer, fit better on the face, and can offer a more pleasant and effective therapy. Oils, sweat, and dust accumulate daily on the mask parts, causing premature wear and irritation.
• To avoid all of this, daily care of the mask is recommended. CPAP Mask Wipes are ideal for daily cleaning of the mask.
• The weekly care is more detailed. We disassemble the mask, put it in lukewarm water with mild soap, scrub and rinse.
• The mask headgear should be washed less frequently using the same process.
• The device circuit must be cleaned weekly with running water.
• The device filters should be regularly checked for dust and wear. The black filter is washable, the white one should be replaced as soon as it changes color.
• The mask should be replaced at least every 1 year and the circuit every 6 months.
