The DFS Lite shoulder protectors are designed to control friction, while the jacket also features shoulder and elbow protectors. The fixed mesh lining has pockets for a back protector and a split chest protector. The longer back provides greater coverage in the riding position, while the waist and cuffs are adjustable with hook-and-loop closures.
