All shades, except for Black and White, include high lightfastness organic colorants and beautiful hues. The acrylic binder is clear and colorless. As an innovation, watercolors are offered in pipette bottles for precise and clean removal of the color.
With the binder and diluent being the same component, it is possible to dissolve the color up to one day after it dries. Even longer periods can be achieved with the “Drying Restrainer” diluent supplement.
Despite the liquid form of the color, the pigments are highly concentrated to maintain brightness during the application of supplements. Independent applications, especially of the blue shades, may acquire a bronzed appearance when they dry. Due to the high specific gravity of the infrared inorganic pigments, this shade has been replaced with Royal Blue. Thanks to the adherence of the pigments to the paper, the colors exhibit high mobility and a tendency for clear outlines during application, which is particularly useful for wet-on-wet glosses.
The “Gloss intensifier” diluent supplement increases the concentration of the binder. When used in smaller doses, it may also reduce the absorbency of the background.
The mentioned lightfastness is based on standardized measurement processes. Note that thin layers on paper are more sensitive to light than covering applications.
You can maximize the lifespan of the colors by closing the bottles immediately after removing color doses and keeping the neck of the bottle clean.
Usage: The watercolor is ready for immediate use, but should be shaken before use.
