All shades, except Black and White, contain organic pigments with high lightfastness and beautiful hues. The acrylic binder is transparent and colorless. As an innovation, watercolors are offered in bottles with droppers for precise and clean color removal.
With the binder and diluent being the same ingredient, it is possible to dissolve the color up to one day after drying. Even longer periods can be achieved with the "Restrainer" additive diluent.
Despite the liquid nature of the color, the pigments are highly concentrated to maintain brilliance during the application of additives. Undiluted applications, especially in blue shades, may acquire a bronze tint as they dry. Due to the high specific gravity of the inorganic pigments, this tint has been replaced with Royal Blue. Thanks to the adhesion of the pigments to the paper, the colors exhibit great fluidity and tendency for clean outlines during application, which is particularly useful for wet glazes.
The "Gloss intensifier" additive diluent increases the concentration of the binder. Used in smaller doses, it can also reduce background absorption.
The reported lightfastness is based on standardized measurement processes. Note that thin layers on paper are more sensitive to light than coverage applications.
You can maximize the lifespan of the colors by closing the bottles immediately after color removal and keeping the bottle spout clean.
Usage: Watercolors are ready to use but should be shaken before use.
