As soon as I put the toner in the printer, it displayed a message that there was no toner. On the left side of the toner, there is a small slot with a chip. You need to be careful because it might come off and be lying inside the box. I put it in its place and it was immediately recognized.
However, while the iPrint&Scan app showed that the toner was full and not compatible, I couldn't print because the print queue displayed the message "no ink or toner detected." However, from the Brother app, by selecting print, printing a file worked normally. Then I proceeded with the following setting and everything worked immediately:
-Press Win + R → type services.msc
-Find the Print Spooler service, right-click and "Stop".
-Open the folder: C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all the files there.
-Go back to services.msc and "Start" the Print Spooler service again.
Με το που έβαλα το toner στον εκτυπωτή, έβγαζε μήνυμα ότι δεν υπάρχει toner. Στα αριστερά του toner υπάρχει μία μικρή υποδοχή με ένα τσιπάκι. Θέλει προσοχή γιατί ενδέχεται να φύγει και να είναι πεσμένο μέσα στο κουτί. Το έβαλα στη θέση του και κατευθείαν αναγνωρίστηκε.
Ωστόσο, ενώ η εφαρμογή iPrint&Scan έδειχνε ότι το toner είναι γεμάτο και μη συμβατό δεν μπορούσα να τυπώσω, καθώς η ουρά εκτύπωσης έβγαζε το μήνυμα ότι "δεν ανιχνεύτηκε μελάνι ή γραφίτης". Από την εφαρμογή της brother όμως επιλέγοντας print η εκτύπωση ενός αρχείου γινόταν κανονικά. Κατόπιν προχώρησα στην παρακάτω ρύθμιση και όλα δούλεψαν αμέσως:
-Πάτα Win + R → γράψε services.msc
-Βρες την υπηρεσία Print Spooler (Λογισμικό ουράς εκτύπωσης), κάνε δεξί κλικ και "Stop".
-Άνοιξε τον φάκελο: C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS και διέγραψε όλα τα αρχεία εκεί.
-Ξαναπήγαινε στο services.msc και κάνε "Start" στην υπηρεσία Print Spooler.
Even one star is too much. 4 toners, one was never recognized, the other three printed half a page each.
Και το ένα αστέρι είναι υπερβολή 4 τονερ το ένα δεν το αναγνώρισε ποτέ τα υπόλοιπα τρία εκτύπωσαν την μισή σελίδα..
Nothing to do with the 3000 pages mentioned. Around 1000 maybe, i.e. as many as the normal size, not the XL.

Installed in DCP-L2620W and worked - recognized immediately without any problem and prints well.
However, it does not deliver the 3000 pages it claims, around 1300 it started printing faded and I replaced it. The original that came with the printer had given me 600.
Last year I bought it for €20. For €4.5 that it now costs, it is the only way compared to the original.

Nothing to do with the 3000 pages mentioned. Around 1000 maybe, i.e. as many as the normal size, not the XL.
Καμία σχέση με τις 3000 σελίδες που αναφέρονται. Γύρω από 1000 μπορεί δηλ όσες είναι το κανονικό μέγεθος οχι το XL.
Installed in DCP-L2620W and worked - recognized immediately without any problem and prints well.
However, it does not deliver the 3000 pages it claims, around 1300 it started printing faded and I replaced it. The original that came with the printer had given me 600.
Last year I bought it for €20. For €4.5 that it now costs, it is the only way compared to the original.
Τοποθετήθηκε σε DCP-L2620W και δούλεψε - αναγνωρίστηκε κατευθείαν χωρίς πρόβλημα και εκτυπωνει καλά.
Ωστόσο δε βγάζει με τίποτα τις 3000σελίδες που λέει, περίπου στις 1300 άρχισε να εκτυπώνει ξεθωρισμένα και το άλλαξα. Το αρχικό που είχε ο εκτυπωτής μου είχε βγάλει 600.
Πέρσι το είχα πάρει 20€. Για 4,5€ που έχει πάει πλεον είναι μονόδρομος σε σχέση με το ορίτζιναλ.
Initially, I was skeptical given the very low price and the requirement for the correct chip to operate. In the end, everything went well and it prints perfectly. I will order two more to have as spares.
Αρχικά ήμουν επιφυλακτικός δεδομένης της πολύ χαμηλής τιμής και της απαίτησης σωστού chip για την λειτουργία. Τελικά όλα πήγαν μία χαρά και τυπώνει άψογα. Θα παραγγείλω άλλα δύο να υπάρχουν.
