Fulfill Nobunaga Oda's unfulfilled ambition to unify Japan. Players are supported by loyal retainers who act according to their own judgment. The "Dominion" system will allow the acquisition and granting of territories to retainers. In return, the captives who acquire the land will devote themselves to the development of the clan.

• Divide and grant the beautifully detailed Japan of the Warring States period at will and make it prosper.
• Over 2,200 officers will be included, the largest number in the series. Gather with the highly individualistic captives and drive the story forward.
• The game will include various features fitting for the series' 40th anniversary, including scenarios, events, politics, and more, as well as elements from previous titles such as the editing feature that will allow the changing of officers' status, music, and scenarios, or the creation of new clans.
