They have by far the best sole currently available on the market. From the moment you wear them, you feel like you are stepping on something superior – excellent ankle support and noticeably lighter weight even compared to much more expensive sports shoes from well-known brands.
I personally use them both for hiking in the mountains and at the unit, and their performance is consistently excellent. If the same model existed in a purely athletic version, I would have already bought it without a second thought.
Important to know before you buy them: you buy them for their comfort and their sole — not for top durability. The sole is made of foam material, which means it can be easily scratched by stones, but this does not essentially affect its use.

Very good boots.. Very light sole, much better than many sports shoes.. However, mine broke at the same spot on both boots, which I consider a defect, in 5 months with very mild use.. I am in the army and mostly in the office
