Very comfortable to use, excellent nib especially for Gothic calligraphy! For modern calligraphy, it requires a bit more attention to the turns to get them right in one go, but for hobby and personal use purposes for which I bought it, this is not a problem for me.

It should be noted that the piece I received came with dark blue ink instead of black, which doesn't bother me personally, but perhaps it was because it was the last piece available at that time.

The ink was inside the pen but not applied, and I initially made the mistake of trying to pierce it with the nib inside the cap, which led to me having to use pliers to remove the nib from the cap as I couldn't screw the back of the pen onto it due to its shape, but apart from that, everything went well afterwards.

The ink cartridge is quite large so I believe it will last for some time, and it also seems to be of good quality. It dries fairly quickly (about 1 minute but I didn't time it) and even on regular paper that I wrote on (the photos I uploaded so far are on regular paper) it was very smooth and easy to use and nothing went through more than a single sheet of paper (only the back side of the same sheet had in some small spots a more intense ink bleed-through).

These are my first impressions, I will update accordingly if something important comes up.
