The MRU-30 (WMPLMRU30) earth resistance and resistance meter uses the most well-known methods for measuring earth resistance. Tests can be conducted using the technical method (3p, 4p), as well as with the use of additional clamps (multi-grounds), and also with the two-clamp method. The two-clamp method allows for the measurement of earth resistance in certain cases without the need for additional electrodes inserted into the ground.
The device is complemented with measurements of ground resistance, continuity of protective and compensatory connections, and, using clamps, flow currents and voltage disturbances. It is durable and resistant to all weather conditions (IP65) – waterproof and dustproof from every side. It features an ergonomic case – small and user-friendly design for more comfortable measurements.
Features include:
- Built-in battery – saves time on battery replacement, charges with PowerBank and car lighter.
- Clear notifications – information is displayed on the screen before and after measurement to alert the user about potential hazards and anomalies.
- Multiple available measurement methods in a small case.
Measurement applications:
- Earth resistance with additional electrodes.
- Earth resistance with additional electrodes and clamps (for multi-ground measurement).
- Earth resistance with double clamps (for grounding measurement when additional electrodes cannot be used).
- Ground resistance (Wenner method).
- Continuity of protective and compensatory connections (complementary PN-EN 61557-4 with self-regulation - current 200mA).
Additionally: measurement of resistance of additional electrodes RS and RH, measurement of disturbed voltage, measurement in the presence of voltage disturbances in networks at 50Hz and 60Hz, selection of maximum voltage measurement (25V and 50V), input of distance between electrodes for resistance in meters (m) and feet (ft), memory of 990 measurements (10 banks of 99 cells), calibration of measuring clamps, data transmission to computer (USB), and battery status indication.
