Chateau Penaud is located on the right bank of Bordeaux, in the Blaye region, and benefits from a favorable microclimate with high sunshine rates and ideal humidity for grape maturation, thanks to the influence of the Gironde estuary.

The estate is dominated by two terroirs:

  • Sandy-gravelly: On the hillsides bordering the Gironde estuary.
  • Sandy-clay: On the slopes further inland.

These soils provide fruitiness and strength to the red wines, while ensuring freshness and aromatic expression in the white wines.
