Description

The anemometer is a device used to measure wind speed and is a common instrument in meteorological stations. This well-built anemometer is designed to be mounted externally and easily measures wind speed.

For use, connect the black wire to power and ground, the brown wire to 7-24VDC (we successfully used 9V), and measure the analog voltage on the blue wire. The voltage will range from 0.4V (0 m/s wind) to 2.0V (for wind speed of 32.4m/s). The sensor is durable and easy to install. The wire disconnects easily with a few turns and features a rugged connection.
