Down-Firing 10" Driver and 200W Amplifier for Earthquake Bass

The professional studio subwoofer JBL LSR310S is designed to extend the low-frequency response of your system with absolute precision and power. It features a custom, down-firing high-excursion 10-inch driver, which is expertly driven by a built-in 200 Watts RMS power amplifier. JBL's legendary transducer systems allow the device to produce deep response reaching the 20 Hz range and an impressive maximum output of 113 dB peak SPL, operating flawlessly at full power for long periods without risk of failure.

Patented Slip Stream™ Port Technology for Clear Dynamic Response

The purity of low frequencies without acoustic distortions is ensured through JBL's patented Slip Stream™ Port technology. This advanced port design works perfectly with the 10-inch woofer to deliver deep, dynamic bass response at any playback level. The dual, carefully engineered shape of the port is mathematically calculated to optimize low-frequency extension, completely eliminating annoying aerodynamic noise and air turbulence.

Exclusive XLF Extended Low Frequency Tuning for Club Sound

A global innovation by JBL, the XLF (Extended Low Frequency) setting activates a specially designed sound profile that accurately simulates the large, enhanced bass setup used in modern discotheques and dance clubs. When producing or mixing a dance and electronic track, the XLF function will inspire you by delivering the authentic club feel directly to your studio control room. For maximum effect, it is recommended to place the LSR310S in the closest corner of your room with XLF enabled.

Professional Balanced Connections, Crossover and Sensitivity Adjustment

The monitor offers maximum flexibility and universal compatibility, incorporating professional balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs, as well as XLR outputs, allowing easy integration into any studio monitor system or as a ".1" LFE channel in surround setups. It features a input sensitivity selector switch (-10dBV / +4 dBu) for overload protection, three Crossover settings (80 Hz, XLF, External for using an external crossover), as well as a simple and effective volume control with fixed indicators for easy acoustic balance.

Excellent for listening to classical music, combined with the JBL 306. The sound is integrated exactly as it should, without overpowering.

At 400 Euros, it is the best subwoofer in its category. I have been using it for at least a year and I have formed a good opinion about this product.
Its bass is crystal clear, it brings a different dimension to the main speakers and completes every setup. It is also exceptional in terms of volume, without the slightest distortion at higher volumes. I have used it for music production as well, as it gives you a very good representation of what is happening at low frequencies. As for features, at the back we find the switch for the crossover with the following settings: XLF (10 dB boost at 60Hz, recommended for listening to how your mix would correspond to a club sound system), 80Hz (default), and external for using an external crossover. Additionally, at the back, we also find the switch for +4dbu and -10dba.
For studio use, music listening, and movie watching, it is an excellent product. However, at 500 Euros, there might be better options for studio use, but it requires research. Personally, I would look towards the krk since they provide more options for crossover. These are my thoughts, and I truly hope I helped you.
