The OPAL GY motion sensor is an outdoor dual motion detector, ideal for use both in the outdoor areas of protected buildings and in indoor spaces with challenging environmental conditions (e.g., halls, corridors). The OPAL detector is equipped with PIR and MW technologies, as well as an anti-mask function implemented by microwaves. The dual technology combined with the detector's self-adaptation algorithm for environmental conditions offers high resistance to false alarms, thus ensuring stable operation in difficult weather conditions such as rain, snow, sunshine, and strong winds.
The OPAL detector has a detection angle of 100 degrees and a range exceeding 15 meters. The area beneath the detector is also protected, so any attempt by an intruder to approach the device from below to damage or break it will be detected. Additionally, the OPAL detector's software has been developed so that the movements of small pets do not cause false alarms.
A distinct feature is the device's casing, for which dual injection technology was used in its production. This created a waterproof design with an IP54 leak rating, providing protection to the electronic arrangement from harmful atmospheric phenomena. The detector's casing is also characterized by high mechanical strength and resistance to UV rays.
To further protect the device from atmospheric precipitation and pollution, it is possible to install a protective hood HOOD C (white) or HOOD C GY (gray) on the device. The design of the OPAL detector allows it to be mounted directly on a flat surface. If the detector is to be tilted vertically or horizontally, special brackets - angular or spherical - from the sets: BRACKET E and BRACKET C (white) or BRACKET C GY (gray) must be used. To increase the distance of the detector from the wall, even by several centimeters, the Bracket E must be used.
The OPAL detector is available in two color versions: white (OPAL) and gray (OPAL GY).
