For optimal results, the denitrate should be placed to ensure water flow through it, as in a canister filter, a chemical filtration unit, or a box filter. The flow rate should not exceed 200 L (50 US gallons) per hour. If higher flow rates are unavoidable, use the Matrix or Pond Matrix. It is best to rinse the dust before use.

Once the denitrate is used for several days, nitrate salt concentrations will begin to decrease and will gradually stop at a concentration of about 4-5 mg / L as nitrates.
