Gigo Air-Walker
Experiment with the physics of air pressure and suction!
A robot that defies gravity? This is the robot you get with the Air-Walker, a four-legged robot that uses an intelligent system of suction cups and pumps to crawl along a smooth surface like windows. It has the same technology as the Geckobot, but the Air-Walker is easier to assemble.
The robot can crawl in a straight line, to the left or to the right, while a special mechanism makes the robot's head move back and forth as its body moves forward. You can also build four other models with the same pieces and learn how suction and mechanical devices can be used in different applications in the real world.
- Vacuum suction machine that sticks and lifts the suction cups.
- Robot with only two suction cups that spins around a central pivot point.
Suitable for ages 8 and up.
