The lens features:

  • Nearly silent AF STM motor for fast and accurate autofocus operation.
  • Support for Sony's in-camera 5-axis image stabilization.
  • Two aspherical elements and two ultra-low dispersion elements that suppress chromatic aberrations and eliminate coma.
