It includes active IR anti-masking and has a wall-mounted range of up to 10 meters and a ceiling-mounted range of up to 6 meters. It has a normally closed alarm output and an LED indicator light with blue color (alarm) and green + orange (masked).

Power consumption is 22mA maximum, with a supply voltage of 9 to 16 VDC, typically 12 VDC. Operating temperatures range from -25 °C to 60 °C. Its dimensions are 29.2mm × 134.4mm × 39.5mm, and it weighs 77.5g. It comes with an L-shaped adapter for indoor and outdoor applications.
