The Malva de Crete was created to highlight the elegant and aromatic character of Malvasia. The name Malva is inspired by the name of the variety as well as the aromatic flower Malva Sylvestris, as the floral profile is clearly reflected in the wine. It is a variety produced in the province of Malevizi, in the northwestern part of Heraklion, which during the Venetian period was called Candia, from which the name of the variety Malvasia di Candia Aromatica comes, a name by which the variety became known throughout Europe. Light, aromatic, and slightly spicy, it is sure to impress you.
