The Gigamic Pylos Classic board game is a strategy game for two players. The aim is to place your last marble at the top of the pyramid. Players take turns placing one marble in an empty space on the board or on top of other marbles to build the next levels. When a line of four marbles is formed on the first level, a line of three on the second level, or a square of four marbles on any level, the player may remove one or two of their own marbles, provided they are not supporting any others.
Choosing where to place marbles and when to reclaim them affects the course of the game. The game has won awards in Italy and the United States, and in 1994 it was ranked among the top five games by MENSA.
