So far, it is the only cream that has helped me and I have tried almost 10 (branded and highly rated). It is neutral in healing, but perfect in prevention. I suffered for months with cracked hands and nightly hand scratching crises, so much so that I even developed dyshidrotic eczema. This cream saved me. With just one application at night, it protects my hands for the entire next day. Even with frequent use of dishwashing liquid and frequent hand washing!

As for absorption, yes, it's not the best, I would say it gets a 6-7 out of 10, but a minimal amount is enough to cover both hands. It keeps the skin hydrated for many hours.
