100% lavender essential oil, which is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of the plant Lavandula angustifolia. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid with a characteristic herbal and floral aroma. It may contain over 100 different components. It mainly consists of linalyl acetate, linalool, lavandulol, 1,8 cineole, levandulyl acetate, and camphor. The remaining components are terpenoids, such as monoterpenes, triterpenes, and sesquiterpenes, as well as phenolic compounds.
