The Dandelion or bitter herb or mountain radish or wild radish (Taraxacum officinale) is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family. It can reach a height of 70 cm and is found in temperate regions around the world, resembling the well-known radish.

In modern herbal medicine, Dandelion is used for a wide range of health problems, with significant benefits such as the ability to detoxify the body. It cleanses the blood and tissues from harmful toxins, particularly important in cases of skin diseases. The herb is diuretic and cleanses the urinary system without depriving the body of potassium.

It is said that Dandelion assists in increasing bile flow and stimulates the liver and gallbladder.
