This is the emblematic wine of Saint Emilion. Chateau Angelus is situated in a natural amphitheater overlooking the three churches of Saint-Emilion. This atmosphere is enhanced by the chateau's bells, which can be heard every morning, noon, and evening. Less than a kilometer from the famous bell tower of Saint-Emilion, Angelus was the life work of eight generations of the Bouard de Laforest family.

In the first classification of Saint-Emilion in 1954, Chateau Angelus was classified as a Grand Cru Classe. It is now one of the four Premiers Grands Crus Classes A in Saint-Emilion.

What makes Chateau Angelus so special is the unique terroir and the passion for producing exceptionally premium wines. A wonderful terroir that is more complex than you might imagine, with its natural ability to drain water and retain moisture through the different elements within it. It is a Premier Grand Cru Classe A that will impress with its rich, dense, and creamy character, along with the elegance and sense of freshness it offers.
