Description

Crataegus Berry Tincture 50ml

Herbal tinctures are made by soaking a plant in an alcoholic solution for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active compounds of the plant dissolve into the alcohol solution, resulting in the tincture.

The Crataegus Berry Tincture (Crataegus Oxyacantha) is derived from processing the plant of the same name, which thrives in Europe, Asia, and North America. It is used in modern herbal medicine to address heart and circulatory system issues.

  • Expansion of coronary and peripheral arteries, improving blood circulation.
  • Reduction of heart rate through procyanidins contained in the leaves of the Crataegus.
  • Clinical research has shown a significant decrease in palpitations, fatigue, and shortness of breath in patients with heart failure who were administered a decoction of Crataegus leaves and flowers.
  • Useful in reducing high blood pressure and in the treatment of angina and heart arrhythmias.

The usual dosage is 1ml (approximately 20 drops per day). It should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The Crataegus tincture is produced in England using exclusively organic raw materials.
