The file is saved to the memory card via the front camera, while the system supports recording up to 5 channels. DIP switches let you select simultaneous viewing of 2 cameras in a side-by-side or top-and-bottom layout, 3 cameras, or 4 cameras.

The unit can be installed on the dashboard or elsewhere in the vehicle and requires a separate power supply in addition to the DVR camera. It operates only when the DVR camera is active, and the combined signal is recorded on the rear channel of the front camera.
