The Ureteral Stent Set is used for patients who have or are likely to have a kidney obstruction. An internal drainage tube, called a stent, is placed in the ureter and the tube connecting the kidney to the bladder, in order to prevent or temporarily address the obstruction. Common causes of kidney obstruction include:

• A stone that has moved.
• Narrowing in the ureter due to various causes.
• Temporarily after a procedure on the ureter.

The Ureteral Stent Set provides high safety and excellent drainage performance. The new rigid Ureteral Stent SET Rüsch is made with integrated stents from stable polyurethane that retains their shape exceptionally well. The stents offer high resistance and ensure the restoration of ureteral patency.
