Altos Las Hormigas stands out from the other wineries in Argentina. The "Hill of Ants" belongs to two Italians, Antonio Morescalchi and Alberto Antonini. Alberto, along with Attilio Pagli, is the oenologist of the estate, and both have created iconic wines in Italy. The team also includes Pedro Parra, known for his expertise in terroir in South America.
Altos Las Hormigas's philosophy focuses on expressing the terroir of Mendoza through exceptional vineyards cultivated biodynamically. The grapes are fermented separately, using wild yeasts, inert oak, and minimal sulfites, resulting in refined Malbec wines.
