In Naoussa, a traditional area for the production of red wines with a designation of origin, lies the vineyard of the Karydas family. The Estate is located just 2.5 km outside Naoussa, in the "Ano Gastra" area, at an altitude of 205 meters. It covers an area of 26 acres and its soil is sloping with very good drainage, sandy-clay-limestone, which contributes to the quality of the raw material and the produced wines. The harvest is carried out with interest, a lot of work and love, towards the end of September, in 3 successive stages, for the best possible quality of grapes. After vinification, the aging for 18-20 months in French oak barrels calms, softens, and balances the rich character of this variety. After barrel aging and bottling, the wine remains for reductive aging in the bottle for 4-5 months.
