Description

The Tatsis Estate is a family estate of Pericles and Stergios Tatsis, two brothers who embrace the principles of biodynamic cultivation and apply them perfectly to their organically cultivated vineyards.

The Goumenissa of the Tatsis Estate has impressed both the Greek and international markets, as it is an exceptional wine that excellently combines Xinomavro, which provides structure and intense flavors, with Negoska, which offers more color, balances the alcohol level, and moderates the acidity and tannins of Xinomavro. The result will impress you!

While I really like the Roditis and Malagouzia of this particular winemaker, the Goumenissa was below expectations. The Hatzivaritis was simply superior.

Unfortunately, I bought 2 wines from 2014 in November 2021 and both were almost vinegar-like. To be precise, they could be consumed but with difficulty. They had lost both their color and aroma and of course, their taste. What a shame.
