  • Variety

    Cabernet Sauvignon

    It produces wines with intense tannins, full body, and characteristic aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry), often with notes of cedar, mint, or tobacco. They have excellent aging potential.

    Cabernet Franc

    Often used in blends with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, but also produces excellent single-varietal wines. It has a lighter body than Cabernet Sauvignon, with aromas of red fruits (raspberry, cherry), characteristic vegetal notes (pepper, tomato leaves), and sometimes graphite.

    Merlot

    It gives wines with soft tannins, medium acidity, and aromas of red fruits (cherry, plum), often with notes of herbs or chocolate. They are rounder and softer on the palate compared to Cabernet Sauvignon.

    An amazing wine that hasn't been promoted as much as others from the Drama region. The presence of Cabernet Franc, although in a small percentage, gives it many of its noble characteristics. It definitely deserves its money, although I was very lucky, as they were selling it for 6 euros in a supermarket, and of course, I bought as many bottles as were on the shelf (if they had more in stock, I would definitely have bought those too). Do not forget to decant it before consuming.
