  • Variety

    Cabernet Sauvignon

    It produces wines with intense tannins, full body, and characteristic aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry), often with notes of cedar, mint, or tobacco. They have excellent aging potential.

    Cabernet Franc

    Often used in blends with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, but also produces excellent single-varietal wines. It has a lighter body than Cabernet Sauvignon, with aromas of red fruits (raspberry, cherry), characteristic vegetal notes (pepper, tomato leaves), and sometimes graphite.

    Merlot

    It gives wines with soft tannins, medium acidity, and aromas of red fruits (cherry, plum), often with notes of herbs or chocolate. They are rounder and softer on the palate compared to Cabernet Sauvignon.

  • Dryness

    Dry

    Contains minimal sugars, with intense acidity and full body. Pairs well with meats, pasta, and cheeses.

PGI Peloponnese. The late 19th century. A witness to this relationship is the old family winery located just a few meters from the main facilities of Ancient Mantineia. This building dates back to around 1890 and one can observe there two wine presses and underground tanks for collecting must.

The cultivation and winemaking process have been carried out since 1993 according to EU Reg.884/2007 for Organic Agriculture and since 2003 with the stricter private standards of Delinat (Switzerland). The goal is to produce high-quality grapes and protect the ecosystem and the environment.

The meeting of the two wineries:

  • Single vineyard Agiorgitiko from Ancient Nemea
  • Single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Ancient Mantineia

Classic red winemaking with long post-fermentation extraction, aging in French oak sur lie for 14 months. From organic vineyards with low yield per hectare grapes.
