HDMI over UTP technology is used to extend HDMI signals over network cables (CAT5e/6, UTP) to an HDTV display located far from the source device.

The 371-055 is capable of maintaining high-resolution image clarity (10.5Gbits, 1080p) at distances up to 30m. It consists of a local transmitter unit located next to the HDMI source and a remote receiver unit located with the remote HDTV display.
