P.G.I. Peloponnese.
The Spyropoulos family has very close ties with vineyards and wine since the late 19th century. Evidence of this relationship is the old "winery" of the family located just a few meters from the main facilities of Ancient Mantineia. This building dates back to around 1890 and one can observe there two wine presses and underground tanks for the collection of must.
The cultivation and winemaking process have been conducted since 1993 according to EU Regulation 884/2007 for Organic Farming and since 2003 with the stricter private standards of Delinat. The goal is to produce high-quality grapes and protect the ecosystem and the environment.
The careful cultivation, harvesting, and winemaking of Moschofilero and Roditis from mountainous vineyards of the Peloponnese allow them to express themselves in a very special and now characteristic way. A blend of Moschofilero from mountainous Arcadia and Roditis from mountainous Corinthia. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with a short stay on the fine lees.
