The vineyards of the Estate are located in central Evia, in the semi-mountainous region of Afrati and the village of Mytikas. Afrati is climatically influenced by Mount Dirfi (1743 m.). Being south of Dirfi, in its breeze, the vineyards enjoy the cold wind and the coolness that descends from the mountain and the north. The cold winter, the hot summer, and the dry autumn contribute to the excellent phenolic ripening of the grapes. All these are elements of a unique terroir, the microclimate of the vineyards of Avantis Estate.
Avantis Rosé is one of the undisputed best-sellers not only among rosés but in Greek wine in general. This particular wine is a characteristic example of the attention and "mastery" employed in the production of modern quality rosé wines. It results from a particularly complex vinification that ensures aromas in nose and mouth, structure, balance, and great duration.
