With a long family tradition in the historic viticulture area of Aigio, the Katsikosta family has entered the 3rd generation, with siblings Loukas and Sosanna taking the reins of the winery. Achaion Winery selects the finest grapes from Achaia and Aigialeia, focusing on less common grape varieties for the production of high-quality wines.
- 90% White Muscat
- 10% Mavrodaphne
The grapes of the two varieties are blended. The juice is separated and clarified through static settling, while the clear must ferments at a controlled temperature of 15 ˚C. The fermentation process is stopped by cooling the wine to maintain the desired level of residual sugars.
