The winery is located in Dafnes, Heraklion, Crete and has been designated as a zone of superior quality designation of origin. Viticulture and wine production is a tradition for the Douloufakis Family, passed down from generation to generation as a distillation of valuable experience. At the Douloufakis winery, the selected vineyards and ideal microclimate provide the conditions for producing exceptional wines.

Protected Designation of Origin "DAFNES"

Classic red vinification:

  • The alcoholic fermentation starts for 3 days at 20°C.
  • It continues at 25°C, in stainless steel tanks.
  • Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of 1.5t and 3t.
