Very expensive for a free p4 with a better knife..........plus the problems it has with the cutters with the gap and the incomplete collection with tips........

The Arc is the top Leatherman in my opinion. It has the same technology as the free p4 and all the tools are accessible with one hand, without needing to open the pliers. The knife is made of magnacut material (a type of steel that is excellent for knives). It has several improvements compared to its brother (freep4) such as a larger file, a screwdriver slot, a more accurate awl, and a small screwdriver for tasks like glasses, etc.

Apart from these, it has scissors, a saw, pliers with interchangeable cutters, a bottle opener, a can opener, a prybar, a hammer, and wire strippers.

Since I am the owner of both the free p4 and the arc now, the multitools are similar, with small changes. If someone is not interested in the magnacut steel and the interchangeable screwdrivers, then they can easily choose the free p4 to save some money.

    Overall, the arc is excellent!

Description & Specifications

The Leatherman ARC is the first multi-tool to feature premium stainless MagnaCut. The knife blade is made from CPM MagnaCut steel, which maintains a sharp edge and excels in corrosion resistance, hardness, and ease of sharpening. The result is a knife blade that is ideal for everyday tasks as well as the toughest environments. The DLC coating on the blade adds another layer of corrosion resistance. The ARC also includes the highly anticipated bit driver, opens smoothly, and operates 100% with one hand. With 20 tools, a removable pocket clip, nylon sheath, and nine double-ended bits, the durable, practical ARC sets the standards for now and the future for premium multi-tools.
