Great base and good price. I’m deducting stars because the wood (bamboo) is of mediocre quality. The surface is fine, but small gaps are visible at the end grain. I use it as a base for DIY work and it is excellent (5 stars). But as a cutting board I would not use it for hygiene reasons due to the imperfections in the body of the bamboo (2 stars).
Μεγάλη βάση και καλή τιμή. Κόβω αστέρια γιατί το ξύλο (μπαμπού) είναι μέτριας ποιότητας . Η επιφάνεια είναι σωστή αλλά στο σόκορο φαίνονται μικρά διάκενα. Τη χρησιμοποιώ σα βάση για μαστορέματα και είναι άριστη (5 αστερια). Αλλά σα βάση κοπής δε θα την χρησιμοποιούσα για λόγους υγιεινής λόγω των ατελειών στο σώμα του μπαμπού (2 αστερια).
The size is okay for a large kitchen countertop. From there, the problems begin. When the board stays wet on the countertop, it molds underneath, even though I placed adhesive feet on the 4 corners. It should be left hanging in the air without touching anywhere when not in use. All that remains for me is to treat it with a special anti-mold impregnating varnish and we'll see the result.
Το μέγεθος είναι εντάξει για ένα μεγάλο πάγκο κουζίνας. Από εκεί και πέρα αρχίζουν τα προβλήματα. Όταν η σανίδα μείνει νωπή πάνω στον πάγκο, μουχλιάζει από κάτω, παρόλο που τοποθέτησα αυτοκόλλητα ποδαράκια στις 4 γωνίες. Θα πρέπει να μένει κρεμασμένη στον αέρα χωρίς να ακουμπάει πουθενά, όταν δεν χρησιμοποιείται.
Το μόνο που μου απομένει είναι να τον περάσω με ειδικό αντιμουχλικό βερνίκι εμποτισμού και θα δούμε το αποτέλεσμα.
