The Black Diamond Distance 1500 Headlamp flashlight features PowerTap technology that boosts the light beam up to 1500 lumens (automatically adjusts after 10 seconds for battery saving unless customized by the user). The programmed constant output provides continuous illumination before transitioning to reserve power mode. A full battery lasts 8 hours at 300 lumens, while two full batteries last 8 hours at 600 lumens. The Comfort Cradle offers a custom fit without vibrations and scattered padding, and can be used with a detachable top strap for extra security on technical terrain. Its multi-dimensional optical lens design provides a combination of lighting depth for better obstacle detection and smooth, diffuse light for consistent visibility. The rechargeable and interchangeable magnetic battery can be quickly changed with one hand and features an integrated red rear flasher.
