After two months of use, they haven't added any new watch faces. Also, there is no application in the play store to download watch faces made by third parties. There are many applications with very good ratings for band 7, 6, and 5, but none for the 8. I don't know why this is happening.
The positives are more or less known: good battery, all notifications come through, many functions, highly customizable, you can set an alarm from the band, etc. However, I want to highlight some things that bother me.
1. When you set a countdown, you can't change the screen and go to, for example, the home screen, the weather, etc. Unless you have the always-on feature and see the screen always on. When you set a timer, you can go to another screen and it runs in the background normally.
2. The strap slips on the wrist. There are other materials that "stick" to the wrist and don't constantly slide under the wrist.
3. In the watch faces, I didn't find a single one that displays the date as day/month. They are all month/day. Also, in the application, there are no selection filters, for example, with 24-hour or 12-hour display, with weather, with date, etc. You have to search for them one by one. And there are relatively few, especially if I compare it to the amazfit bip that I had for 5 years. I had installed another application and it had literally hundreds of watch faces.
4. When I turn my wrist to turn on the screen, it doesn't always light up. I have to make a big movement of my hand for it to turn on.
5. When a notification comes, it doesn't stay in the notifications for long. After a short time, if I go to the notifications, I see that they have all been deleted.
6. The always-on screen is not very bright. It is not visible at all outside in the sun. Although the brightness is automatically adjusted, the always-on screen does not reach the brightness levels of the regular screen.
Edit: μετά από δύο μήνες χρήση δεν έχουν προσθέσει ούτε ένα καινούργιο watchface. Επίσης δεν υπάρχει καμία εφαρμογή στο play store για να κατεβάσεις watchfaces φτιαγμένα από τρίτους. Υπάρχουν πολλές εφαρμογές και με πολύ καλές αξιολογήσεις για το band 7, 6, και 5, αλλά καμία για το 8. Δεν ξέρω γιατί συμβαίνει αυτό.
Τα θετικά του είναι λίγο πολύ γνωστά: καλή μπαταρία, οι ειδοποιήσεις έρχονται όλες, πολλές λειτουργίες, παραμετροποιήσιμο σε πολύ μεγάλο βαθμό, βάζεις ξυπνητήρι από το band, κτλ. Θέλω όμως να επισημάνω κάποια πράγματα που με ενοχλούν.
1. Όταν βάζεις αντίστροφη μέτρηση δεν μπορείς να αλλάξεις οθόνη και να πας π.χ. στην αρχική, στον καιρό, κτλ. Εκτός αν έχεις το always on και βλέπεις την οθόνη always on. Όταν βάζεις χρονόμετρο μπορείς να πας σε άλλη οθόνη και αυτό τρέχει από πίσω κανονικά.
2. Το λουράκι του γλιστράει στο χέρι. Υπάρχουν άλλα υλικά που "κολλάει" στο χέρι και δεν φεύγει συνέχεια κάτω από τον καρπό.
3. Στα watch faces δεν βρήκα ούτε ένα που να έχει την ημερομηνία μέρα/μήνας. Είναι όλα μήνας/μέρα. Επίσης στην εφαρμογή δεν έχουν φίλτρα επιλογής π.χ. με 24ωρη ή 12ωρη ένδειξη, με καιρό, με ημερομηνία, κτλ. Πρέπει να τα ψάξεις όλα ένα ένα. Και είναι σχετικά λίγα, ειδικά αν το συγκρίνω με το amazfit bip που είχα για 5 χρόνια. Είχα βάλει άλλη εφαρμογή και είχε κυριολεκτικά εκατοντάδες watch faces.
4. Όταν γυρίζω το χέρι για να ανάψει η οθόνη δεν ανάβει πάντα. Πρέπει να κάνω μεγάλη κίνηση του χεριού για να ανάψει.
5. Όταν έρχεται μια ειδοποίηση δεν παραμένει στις ειδοποιήσεις για πολύ. Μετά από λίγη ώρα αν πάω στις ειδοποιήσεις βλέπω ότι έχουν διαγραφεί όλες.
6. Η οθόνη always on δεν είναι πολύ φωτεινή. Έξω στον ήλιο δεν φαίνεται καθόλου. Αν και προσαρμόζεται αυτόματα η φωτεινότητα, η always on οθόνη δεν φτάνει τα επίπεδα φωτεινότητα της κανονικής οθόνης.
