I wouldn't call it a setting powder, mainly a finishing powder. It's not extremely matte, which is good for me, but at the same time it doesn't have any great coverage. Of course, I don't expect the powder to cover anything, but maybe a little bit of redness would be nice. I have combination skin, oily nose and dryness on my forehead, and this powder achieves the balance I want, making my skin look like it has a healthy glow instead of oiliness, and it doesn't cling to drier areas at all. It is also suitable for dry skin. Unfortunately, when I apply it on bare skin, it causes breakouts. When I have makeup underneath, it's okay. One way I wear it is on top of sunscreen and moisturizer, so it takes away the shine. Additionally, it has a light scent.
