White Gum Lacquer Decorticated 3 Cycles in Granules

Natural organic gum lac (Gum Lacquer) in granules. Gum lac is a natural resin used as a substrate for gold leaf gilding, as well as in the final varnish of artwork to stabilize colors. The white decorticated gum lac 3 cycles is a type of bleached and decorticated natural resin.

  • Bleached natural resin
  • Highly transparent and pure
  • Dilutes in a solution of at least 95% ethanol
  • Recommended mixing ratio: 250 grams of gum lac per 1 liter of ethanol
  • After 24 hours, the solution will be fully absorbed
  • Filtering the solution before use is recommended
  • The gum lac solution can be stored for months in a sealed container. Filtering before each use is advised
  • Do not store at temperatures above 20°C
  • Store gum lac in a dry, cool place inside its container, away from exposure to sunlight or heat
  • The decorticated gum lac 3 cycles is practically biodegradable and safe
  • Packaging: 50gr, 1000gr
