Gilding Varnish Acrylic Protection Manetti
High-quality acrylic final varnish for iconography to protect gilded surfaces by Manetti. It safeguards gold and silver leaf from external conditions. It gives the gilded surface a glossy finish.

- Store in a cool (below 20°C) and dry place inside the container, tightly closed, away from sunlight or heat

Apply the varnish, diluted with an appropriate solvent, with a brush, dabbed, or spray.
For spray application, dilute the first coat by 40-50%, then after 6-8 hours, apply a second coat diluted by 20-30%. For brush or dab application, dilute the first coat by 70-100%, then after 6-8 hours, apply a second coat diluted by 20-30%.
Application
Spray application is recommended. When applying with a brush, it is important to do so as quickly and smoothly as possible, without pauses or interruptions. The varnish tends to dry within 15-30 minutes.
