    For a small room, it heats well even on the first setting, at 1000W, and significantly reduces excessive humidity. But it also makes A LOT of noise, so much that it is disturbing for sleep. There was no plastic smell at all at 1000W, and at 2000W it smelled for only a few minutes. The build quality seems good, but it is more of an analog device rather than a digital one. At least the Rohnson brand has some weight, as a name, for years now in household appliances, which is why I preferred to buy it.
