The starters from Imperia, both this one and the smaller one, have LifePO4 batteries and not LiCoO2 like most Chinese and non-Chinese ones to achieve smaller size and increased amp numbers. They are a bit bulkier, however, they withstand many more charging cycles and most importantly, they are much safer regarding "explosions" etc. that we read about from time to time due to overcharging or high temperatures. Just hope they don't change the formula and keep it the same.
