The Blast Burn Bandage is designed to quickly cover burns, abrasions, amputation injuries, and abdominal injuries with minimal bandage use and effort. It provides a treatment area of 50 x 50 cm.

The large, non-adherent bandage easily wraps around the limb and secures with the included elastic wrap. It provides a large, sterile protective cover for chest injuries or burns. With such a large coverage area, the BLAST® bandage is large enough to cover an entire back or chest.

The BLAST® bandage also offers a removable occlusive layer that can cover an area of 48 x 48 cm or be used to cover abdominal eviscerations, minimizing heat and moisture loss.

Self-adherent strips on the bandage prevent the elastic wrap from accidentally unraveling during high loads. These adhesive strips are particularly useful in securing amputations. Providing multiple gripping points, the strips prevent the elastic from sliding during the wrapping process, creating a more secure, effective bandage and reducing the chance of wound exposure during movement.
