04/08/2024: Installation of a GEMBIRD TSL-CAM-WRHD-01 camera in a recessed ceiling spotlight socket on the balcony, after first screwing a continuous double adapter from E27 socket to E27 (purchased from a large electrical chain store) into the existing socket, so that the camera could then be screwed in properly and protrude satisfactorily. The camera was immediately connected with the very good "Tuya Smart Life" app on the mobile phone. So far, it works perfectly after one week of use. The distance between the camera and the router is approx. 5 meters and there is an exterior wall in between. The image quality is moderate to good and the colors are satisfactory (nothing special). At night, with the garden lights on, the image remains in color.
UPDATE 20/5/2026: The camera stopped working and communicating with the app on the mobile phone, while the lower moving part of the camera slightly detached. Perhaps the reason its life was shortened is that I had enabled "motion tracking" from the app and as soon as the camera detected movement, it would turn towards it, resulting in it moving continuously many times during the day (even with plant movement from the wind, i.e. it gets confused by other objects, large pots with plants moving from the wind or dogs, cats in the surrounding area, i.e. for no real reason).
04/08/2024: Τοποθέτηση μιας κάμερας GEMBIRD TSL-CAM-WRHD-01 σε χωνευτή υποδοχή φωτιστικού σποτ οροφής μπαλκονιού, αφού πρώτα βιδώθηκε στο υπάρχον ντουί της υποδοχής ένας συνεχόμενος διπλός αντάπτορας από ντουί E27 σε E27 (αγορασμένος από μεγάλη αλυσίδα ηλεκτρολογικών του εμπορίου), ώστε να μπορέσει μετά να βιδωθεί σωστά η κάμερα και να εξέχει ικανοποιητικά. Η κάμερα συνδέθηκε αμέσως με την πολύ καλή εφαρμογή "Tuya Smart Life" στο κινητό. Προς το παρόν δουλεύει άψογα με χρήση μιας βδομάδας. Η απόσταση κάμερας-router είναι περ. 5 μέτρα και μεσολαβεί εξωτερικός τοίχος. Η ποιότητα της εικόνας μέτρια-καλή και τα χρώματα ικανοποιητικά (όχι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο). Το βράδυ με τα φώτα του κήπου, η εικόνα παραμένει έγχρωμη.
