There is a lot of inaccuracy in the measurements. You put it in your ear and it shows 36.9 and then after 2 minutes 37.3. Many times, one ear shows a different measurement than the other. Also, even when I put new batteries, it shows a low battery indication and beeps constantly. I do not recommend it at all, especially considering the price it has. There are much more reliable options available, and even cheaper.

Also, when you remove the plastic to measure the temperature, it doesn't easily go back in. You think that if you press it a little, it will break!

I am not very satisfied with its use because it is not very reliable. But I take 3 or 4 measurements and considering my touch on the child's forehead, I calculate if the measurement is correct or not. It is convenient because the measurement is done very quickly. But I think it takes some experience to understand if the reading is accurate. Now that I know it, it is useful to me.

I bought it for professional use, I know it's not intended for that. I wanted to experiment because I wanted something easier to use than the classic electronic thermometer. Unfortunately, its accuracy is terrible, my hand is probably more accurate. So for anyone else who had the same idea as me, it's not worth it. Now, I can't give an opinion on using it indoors.

The thermometer has been used on babies for two and a half years. It is quite reliable, although not completely accurate. I have compared it with a mercury thermometer on myself (when I had a fever) and the results are quite close. Also, if you have no experience with electronic thermometers (neither did I), you need to repeat the measurement method several times to get familiar with it. I find that measuring through the forehead is very difficult (especially with very young children) and personally, I no longer use it. The measurement in the ear is more accurate, but you must follow the instructions, such as applying it vertically to the eardrum, not after bathing/eating, etc. Also, the first measurement it gives is always wrong, usually it repeats the last measurement that was taken. I take two measurements on myself first and then use it on the children, repeating at least 2-3 times. I cannot compare it to other electronic thermometers, but I am satisfied with this one and will continue to use it until I can use the classic thermometer on the children and this one becomes obsolete.

Θεωρώ ότι ο τρόπος μέτρησης μέσω μετώπου είναι πολύ δύσκολος (στα πολύ μικρά παιδιά) και προσωπικά δεν τον χρησιμοποιώ πλέον. Η μέτρηση στο αυτί είναι πιο έγκυρη, όμως πρέπει να τηρείς τις οδηγίες χρήσης, πχ να το εφαρμόζεις κάθετα στο τύμπανο, να μην έχει κοιμηθεί το παιδί πάνω στο συγκεκριμένο αυτί, όχι μετά το μπάνιο / φαγητό κλπ. Επίσης, η πρώτη μέτρηση που βγάζει είναι πάντα λάθος, συνήθως ξαναβγάζει την τελευταία μέτρηση που είχε γίνει. Εγώ κάνω δύο μετρήσεις πρώτα σε εμένα και μετά το βάζω στα παιδιά επαναλαμβάνοντας τουλάχιστον 2-3 φορές.
Δεν μπορώ να το συγκρίνω με άλλα ηλεκτρονικά θερμόμετρα, αλλά είμαι ικανοποιημένος από το συγκεκριμένο και θα το χρησιμοποιώ έως ότου να μπορώ να βάλω το κλασσικό θερμόμετρο στα παιδία όποτε και θα παροπλιστεί.
The worst thermometer I have ever used. It showed the same temperature for everyone. Even on my child with a temperature of 38+, it showed only tenths. Luckily, I only paid 22 euros for it.

+Obviously, you don't expect tenth-of-a-degree accuracy, but it seems to give good results on the forehead with +- 0.2C, as long as you follow the instructions and take multiple measurements.
+It seems to be of good quality and the packaging had everything inside (including batteries).
-I don't know how the others work, but for the forehead, you have to swipe it from one end to the other (from temple to temple) and not just touch it momentarily. For babies (which is why I bought it), it might be a small issue if they are sleeping.
-At least for me, it gives random readings in the ear. Maybe I am not doing something right, I don't know, but depending on how I position it, it can even give me a fever reading

I cannot compare it to other electronic thermometers, but I am satisfied with this one and will continue to use it until I can use the classic thermometer on the children and this one becomes obsolete.
Το θερμόμετρο χρησιμοποιείται σε μωρά εδώ και δυόμιση χρόνια. Είναι αρκετά αξιόπιστο, όχι απολύτως ακριβές. Έχω κάνει συγκριτικές μετρήσεις με θερμόμετρο υδραργύρου πάνω μου (με πυρετό) και τα αποτελέσματα είναι αρκετά κοντά. Επίσης, εάν δεν έχεις εμπειρία από ηλεκτρονικά θερμόμετρα (ούτε εγώ είχα) χρειάζεται να επαναλάβεις πολλές φορές τον τρόπο μέτρησης για εξοικείωση. Θεωρώ ότι ο τρόπος μέτρησης μέσω μετώπου είναι πολύ δύσκολος (στα πολύ μικρά παιδιά) και προσωπικά δεν τον χρησιμοποιώ πλέον. Η μέτρηση στο αυτί είναι πιο έγκυρη, όμως πρέπει να τηρείς τις οδηγίες χρήσης, πχ να το εφαρμόζεις κάθετα στο τύμπανο, να μην έχει κοιμηθεί το παιδί πάνω στο συγκεκριμένο αυτί, όχι μετά το μπάνιο / φαγητό κλπ. Επίσης, η πρώτη μέτρηση που βγάζει είναι πάντα λάθος, συνήθως ξαναβγάζει την τελευταία μέτρηση που είχε γίνει. Εγώ κάνω δύο μετρήσεις πρώτα σε εμένα και μετά το βάζω στα παιδιά επαναλαμβάνοντας τουλάχιστον 2-3 φορές.
Δεν μπορώ να το συγκρίνω με άλλα ηλεκτρονικά θερμόμετρα, αλλά είμαι ικανοποιημένος από το συγκεκριμένο και θα το χρησιμοποιώ έως ότου να μπορώ να βάλω το κλασσικό θερμόμετρο στα παιδία όποτε και θα παροπλιστεί.
The worst thermometer I have ever used. It showed the same temperature for everyone. Even on my child with a temperature of 38+, it showed only tenths. Luckily, I only paid 22 euros for it.

Useless. No accuracy in measurements. The child can be burning with fever and this thing will be saying decimals. Money wasted.

I have had it for a week. I have never had an infrared before, so maybe I am not the most reliable for a review. Nevertheless, I have the following to say:
+Price
+Obviously, you don't expect tenth-of-a-degree accuracy, but it seems to give good results on the forehead with +- 0.2C, as long as you follow the instructions and take multiple measurements.
+It seems to be of good quality and the packaging had everything inside (including batteries).
-I don't know how the others work, but for the forehead, you have to swipe it from one end to the other (from temple to temple) and not just touch it momentarily. For babies (which is why I bought it), it might be a small issue if they are sleeping.
-At least for me, it gives random readings in the ear. Maybe I am not doing something right, I don't know, but depending on how I position it, it can even give me a fever reading

-δε ξέρω πως λειτουργούν τα άλλα, αλλά για το μέτωπο πρέπει να το σύρεις από τη μία άκρη στην άλλη (απο κρόταφο σε κρόταφο) και όχι απλά να το ακουμπήσεις στιγμιαία. Για μωράκια (εγω για αυτό το πήρα) ίσως να είναι ένα μικρό θέμα αν κοιμούνται
-εμένα στο αυτί τουλάχιστον βγάζει ότι να ναι. Μάλλον δεν κάνω κάτι καλά εγώ δε ξέρω αλλά αναλόγως πως το βάζω μπορεί να με βγάλει ακόμα και ότι έχω πυρετό

Every single measurement is different: 38.5 then 36.7 then 37.2… I took my ear temperature 10 times, and it was different every single time. There is a lot of inaccuracy in the measurements. You put it in your ear and it shows 36.9 and then after 2 minutes 37.3. Many times, one ear shows a different measurement than the other. Also, even when I put new batteries, it shows a low battery indication and beeps constantly. I do not recommend it at all, especially considering the price it has. There are much more reliable options available, and even cheaper.
Υπάρχει μεγάλη ανακρίβεια στις μετρήσεις. το βάζεις στο αυτί και σου δείχνει 36,9 και μετά από 2 λεπτά 37,3. πολλές φορές άλλη μέτρηση δείχνει από το ένα αυτί και άλλη από το άλλο. επίσης ενώ βάζω καινούργιες μπαταρίες μου βγάζει την ένδειξη χαμηλής μπαταρίας και χτυπάει συνέχεια. Δεν το προτείνω καθόλου, ειδικά με την τιμή που έχει. υπάρχουν πολύ πιο τίμιες επιλογές και μάλιστα φθηνότερες.
I bought it 2.5 years ago, so I remember it works and we're talking about a great, great exclusion from mercury. It's better to buy a cheaper one so that I won't regret the money. Also, when you remove the plastic to measure the temperature, it doesn't easily go back in. You think that if you press it a little, it will break!
Το πήρα πριν 2,5 χρόνια οπότε θυμάται δουλευει κ μιλάμε για μεγάλη μα μεγάλη αποκλειση από το υδραργύρου καλύτερα να επερνα ένα πιο φθηνό να μην λυπηθώ κ τα χρήματα επίσης όταν βγάζεις το πλαστικό για να μετρήσεις το αυτι δεν μπαίνει ξανά εύκολα νομίζεις ότι αν το πιέσεις λίγο θα σπάσει !
I have had it for 2.5 years since my child was born. I use this specific thermometer for measuring in the ear and it is very accurate. On the forehead, it shows random readings and it also drains the batteries, which are the only downsides. Other than that, it is very good, just children, read the instructions
το εχω 2.5 χρονια απο τοτε που γεννηθηκε το παιδι μου . το συγκεκριμενο θερμομετρο το χρισημοποιω για μετρηση στο αυτι κ ειναι πολυ ακριβες. Στο μετωπο δειχνει οτι ναναι κ μαζι με το οτι τρωει τις μπαταριες ειναι τα μονα μειον κατα τα αλλα ειναι πολυ καλο απλα παιδια διαβαστε τις οδηγιες
I wanted a baby thermometer and I bought this one. It says here that it is suitable. Only the instructions inside say that it is not recommended.
I am not very satisfied with its use because it is not very reliable. But I take 3 or 4 measurements and considering my touch on the child's forehead, I calculate if the measurement is correct or not. It is convenient because the measurement is done very quickly. But I think it takes some experience to understand if the reading is accurate. Now that I know it, it is useful to me.
Εγώ ήθελα ένα θερμόμετρο βρέφους και πήρα αυτό. Που και εδώ το βγάζει ότι είναι κατάλληλο. Μόνο που οι οδηγίες μέσα λένε ότι δεν συνιστάται.
Από την χρήση του δεν είμαι και πολύ ευχαριστημένος γιατί δεν είναι και τόσο αξιόπιστο. Αλλά κάνω 3 με 4 μετρήσεις και με γνώμονα και την αφή μου στο μέτωπο του παιδιού υπολογίζω αν είναι σωστή η όχι η μέτρηση. Βολεύει γιατί η μέτρηση γίνεται πολύ γρήγορα. Αλλά θέλει νομίζω μια εμπειρία για να καταλάβεις αν είναι σωστή η ένδειξη. Τώρα που το ξέρω δηλαδή μου είναι χρήσιμο.
