Excellent watch for tough and harsh situations. Waterproof, sturdy, durable, reliable, and very stylish! The negative black screen personally doesn't bother me; in strong lighting it has no visibility issues. In low lighting, it is not as visible compared to a classic digital screen! If you want a smartwatch with many functions, DO NOT buy this!

It does not have accurate measurements, e.g. in altitude, ambient temperature, etc. As for build quality, flawless, a sturdy watch for a lifetime

I have the black version. I bought it after a Casio G-Shock Mud Resist GG-1000GB (which came from NZ Watches and was beautiful, however one of the 4 screws on the back of the case had been kicked from the factory resulting in it not tightening properly and having waterproofing issues and eventually the mechanism broke.) It is equally beautiful, slightly thinner in thickness, but with a much more readable screen and indicators. Better buttons and lighter. It also has solar charging, resulting in much less frequent battery replacement compared to the other one that needed to be changed in 2 years. Overall, it is a very good choice if you like sports watches and do not want the features of a smartwatch and definitely its appearance impresses and attracts attention.

As an owner of many Casio watches in my life, I have to say that this is one of the best I have ever worn! At 52 years old, I was looking for a readable Casio watch that is a watch and not a computer. Despite its size, it sits beautifully on the wrist and is comfortable to wear whether at work or for coffee. It is one of those watches that turn heads to look at it.....It has all the basic functions one would expect from a G-Shock. Barometer, thermometer, altimeter, stopwatch, countdown timer, alarms, etc. If you want a pedometer and oxygen measurement, don't get it. But if you want a watch for a lifetime that you never take off, whether you swim, work, or go for coffee, get it! Watch warranty like all Casio watches.....

Owner of the king of gg1000 and 9400rangeman I tell you that the gw9500 is better in everything it is an awesome watch with separate buttons for each sensor and much more accurate measurement it is a beast I consider it the best classic and simple g shock without connecting to mobile phones and charging with electricity as the new rangeman are now solar so you forget about battery change AMAZING watch and it is also radio controlled I have the green version the screen is the most readable negative screen I have seen do not be afraid at all
