  • I had the older model from the same company for several years and I was satisfied. It is convenient because it doesn't have an on-off button

It is very useful. It requires a little attention with the thick multi-core cables... With the single-core ones, you have no problem.

  • In general, I have lost a lot
I wanted one without buttons, lenses, etc.
The previous one I had I gave away for this reason, you can't be on the ladder and check if it's ON or off
For this specific one, I wanted a click more sensitivity but it's convenient when there are many cables
The sound it makes is not satisfactory but its price is very good

It is the most reliable. You have to touch the cable that has power to show you. Most of them hit from a distance, resulting in not knowing which one out of 5 cables, for example, has power. With this one, you touch the cable you are searching for and its sensitivity is such that it only hits where there is power. I am an electrician and it is very convenient for something quick besides the polymers.

  • It does not hold the voltage well, meaning that in some cables I used it did not hold the voltage even though there was power, while in some others it worked, it does not work in a socket, it does not hold anything. It is not a reliable product...

  • Someone should stick it on the NYM to detect the trend. Otherwise, it does nothing. In the socket, for example, no matter how close you bring it, it has no effect.
It is more useful when we want to install or change lighting fixtures.
